Étonnant exemplaire en alliage blanc laissant apparaître du jaune au niveau des listels. Il ne peut pas s’agir d’un exemplaire frappé sur un flan normal et qui aurait été argenté, car il pèse 3,50 grammes au lieu des 4 grammes théoriques. Exemplaire récupéré dans la région bordelaise et provenant d’un rouleau issu de l’atelier de Pessac. Un exemplaire d’alliage blanc mais de 4 g. s’est vendu 1260 € dans MONNAIES XXIII, n° 2116.
A stunning example in white alloy with yellow visible on the rims. This cannot be a example struck on a normal flan and which would have been silvered, because it weighs 3.50 grams instead of the theoretical 4 grams. This example was recovered in the Bordeaux region and comes from a roll from the Pessac workshop. A white alloy example, but weighing 4 g, sold for €1,260 in MONNAIES XXIII, No. 2116
