Pièce sur un flan large avec un beau portrait, légèrement décentré. Très joli revers avec une frappe légèrement tréflée sur la couronne. Apollon de toute beauté. Une fine patine grise recouvre l’exemplaire

AIOLIS - MYRINA
(2nd century BC)
Myrhina, located northeast of Cyme, eclipsed by its powerful neighbor only appears in the Hellenistic period. Coinage would begin around 300 BC. The city was famous for the worship of Apollo Grynion. But the symbol of the city seems to have been the amphora which is placed at the feet of Apollo.
