Le Parc National Historique de Saratoga (Saratoga National Historical Park) est situé dans l’état de New York à l’endroit même où eurent lieu deux batailles décisives pour les patriotes américains à l’automne 1777. Cette victoire sur les troupes britanniques contribua pour beaucoup à l’entrée en guerre de la France aux côtés de Georges Washington.
Launched in early 2010, 'America the Beautiful' is a program of 56 commemorative quarter dollar coins depicting the national parks and other national sites of the United States of America. Saratoga National Historical Park is located in New York State on the very spot where two decisive battles for American patriots took place in the fall of 1777. This victory over British troops contributed greatly to France's entry into the war on the side of George Washington.
