Ce potin est bien détaillé avec une tête complète au droit (bandeau torsadé) et un très beau sanglier avec l’oreille et les soies figurées par des petits traits obliques.

The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC).
