Cet exemplaire se rapproche du précédent par son droit, mais le revers diffère par la forme de la hampe qui n’a pas la forme d’un T bouleté mais d’un I bouleté. Cette variété semble être inédite.

GALLIA BELGICA - LEUCI (Area of Toul)
(2nd - 1st century BC)
The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC). Caesar (BG. I, 40).
