Poids léger. Sur cet exemplaire pourtant de flan large, les trois globules ne sont pas visibles derrière la tête. Le poids est relativement lourd par rapport à ceux normalement relevés, autour de 4 grammes. M. Crawford signale seulement quatre exemplaires pour cette variété d’après la collection du Cabinet des médailles de la BnF et au British Museum, trois exemplaires, signalés comme très légers.

In 164 BC, the Urbs had 337,452 citizens. In 161 BC, the Greek philosophers and rhetoricians were expelled from Rome. The end of this period is marked by the death of Terence (159 BC) and the birth of Marius (155 BC).
