Exemplaire sur un flan extrêmement large et bombé, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait mature de Séleucus Ier. Frappe un peu molle au revers avec une usure superficielle. Jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets mordorés

Pour ce type particulier, il y a plusieurs variétés selon l’évolution du portrait d’Antiochus avec les traits plus ou moins vieillis (ESM. 140 à 142) avec un Apollon tenant deux flèches et un second type avec une seule flèche (ESM. 143). Notre type avec deux flèches semble plus commun. Nous n’avons pas relevé d’identité de coin pertinente.
For this particular type, there are several varieties according to the evolution of the portrait of Antiochus with more or less aged features (ESM. 140 to 142) with an Apollo holding two arrows and a second type with a single arrow (ESM. 143). Our type with two arrows seems more common. We have not noted any relevant die identity
