评论
Le revers est très proche des petits bronzes de Marseille au taureau chargeant. Le monogramme du revers se retrouve sur de nombreux bronzes de la même période et aussi sur le monnayage d’argent d’Agathoklès.

Agathokles, tyranus of Syracuse
Agathokles had seized power in Syracuse in 317 BC and assumed the title of king in 305 BC. In 310 the tyrant invaded North Africa and attacked Carthage, but he was defeated in 307 and must retire to Sicily. Peace, signed the following year with the hereditary enemy, consecrates the hegemony of Agathokles over all Sicily.
