Pièces issues de séries BU : de 1997 à 2001 il n’y a pas eu de frappes normales pour les 20 francs Mont Saint-Michel.
L’étude à la loupe x 10 de cet exemplaire est très intéressante car on constate que la partie centrale blanche porte des traces de coups qui datent d’avant la frappe. En effet, ils sont amortis et aplatis mais on peut déduire de leur examen que les centres ont été très mal manipulés avant d’être frappés.

The study under a magnifying glass x 10 of this example is very interesting because we see that the white central part bears traces of blows that date from before the strike. Indeed, they are dampened and flattened but we can deduce from their examination that the centers were very badly handled before being struck
