背面的翻译 "Pontifex Maximus Tribunicia Potestate Consul tertium Virtus Augusti", (Grand Pontife revêtu de la puissance tribunitienne consul pour la troisième fois, la Virilité de l'auguste).

Ce type avec la titulature courte HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS est beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent paraître les ouvrages généraux. il n’est pas repris dans le classement de P. V. Hill, The Dating and arrangement of the Undated Coins of Rome, Londres 1970. Comme l’indique D. R. Sear, ce type doit être daté de 125, date de l’introduction de la nouvelle légende de droit.
This type with the short title HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS is much rarer than general works suggest. It is not included in the classification of PV Hill, The Dating and arrangement of the Undated Coins of Rome, London 1970. As DR Sear indicates, this type must be dated 125, the date of the introduction of the new obverse legend
