(25/06/1864-6/10/1891)
Charles I (6/03/1823-6/10/1891) was the son of William I and Pauline of Wurttemberg. He succeeded his father in 1864. In 1846 he married Olga Romanov (1822-1892), daughter of Nicolas I. Without children, it is his nephew Guillaume II who succeeds him.
