(c.810-841)
Eanred was King of Northumbria from about 810 to 841, or 830 to 854. Little is known of his reign. He succeeds Ælfwald II. It was under his reign that Northumbria was submitted to Egbert of Wessex in 827. His son Æthelred II succeeded him.
