The Atrébates were an important people of Belgian Gaul, occupying the territory of medieval Artois, in the current departments of Somme and Pas-de-Calais. They had for neighbors the Ambiens, the Ménapiens and the Morins. Their main oppidum was Nemetocenne (Arras).
