Boîte de production anglaise sans étiquette, probablement du XIXe siècle, voir la fin du XIXe siècle.

W.T (1,56g) (contremarqué d’une couronne), un poids rectangulaire de 2 P. W.T (3,11g) (contremarqué d’une couronne), un poids rectangulaire de 5 P. W.T (7,77g) (contremarqué d’une couronne), un poids rectangulaire gravé 5.9 (7,80g), un poids rectangulaire gravé de multiples écritures (1,95g), un poids rectangulaire gravé 2 Scruple (2,60g). Les lamelles sont percés, soit 3, 5 (3 ex.), 6 (2 ex.), 10, 12 grains
La boîte, complète, métallique sombre, se ferme sans attache. Le fléau de la balance présente des extrémités en col de cygne. L’ensemble (poids et balance) est placé dans une boîte couverte à l’intérieur d’une feutrine verte et d’une soie claire sur le haut.

The weights are of various shapes: a round weight of STAND(ar)D HALF GUINEA (countermarked with a crown) (4.20g) engraved By Act of Parliam.t 1775, a round weight of STAND(ar)D QUARTER GUINEA (countermarked with a crown) (2.10g) engraved By Act of Parliam.t 1775, a round weight S / 18 (7.11g), a rectangular weight of 1 PWT (1.56g) (countermarked with a crown), a rectangular weight of 2 PWT (3.11g) (countermarked with a crown), a rectangular weight of 5 PWT (7.77g) (countermarked with a crown), a rectangular weight engraved 5.9 (7.80g), a rectangular weight engraved with multiple writings (1.95g), a rectangular weight engraved 2 Scruple (2.60g). The slats are pierced, i.e. 3, 5 (3 ex.), 6 (2 ex.), 10, 12 grains The box, complete, dark metallic, closes without fastener. The beam of the balance has swan neck ends.
