Louis is the eldest son of Louis XV and Marie Leszczynska. He was born on September 4, 1729 and is the fourth child of the royal couple who will have a total of ten children, including eight girls. He died on December 20, 1765. The new dolphin then became the Duke of Berry (future Louis XVI).
