DREUX - COUNTY OF DREUX - HUGUES BARDOUL
(c. 1028-1044)
Hugues Bardoul appeared around 1028 and succeeded Bishop Roger de Beauvais (cf. Works of Dominique Legros, p. 78). In 1044, the King of France Henri confiscated the fiefs of Hugues Bardoul. In 1048 he returned to favor and recovered the lordship of Nogent.
