Cet exemplaire pèse 13,74 grammes et présente un aspect argenté. Il est assez épais (2,1 mm contre 1,8 pour les essais en cupro-nickel) mais cela ne suffit pas à justifier cette différence de poids. Par contre, il pourrait correspondre à une 10 francs Turin argent avec un diamètre légèrement plus grand : 30 mm au lieu de 26. Si cet exemplaire est bien en argent, il est absent des principaux ouvrages de référence.

The Provisional Government of the French Republic (GPRF) is the name given to the French Committee for National Liberation (CFLN) led by General de Gaulle since June 1944 and in anticipation of the Allied landings. Recognized by the United States, little by little, the Provisional Government of the French Republic saw its authority extend to the liberated regions. This government was installed in Paris on August 31, 1944 and was reorganized in September to allow the entry of personalities from the internal resistance. This government remained in office until January 16, 1947, the date of the election of Vincent Auriol as President of the Fourth Republic.
