Vincent de Paul ou Vincent Depaul est né au village de Pouy près de Dax le 24 avril 1581 ou 1576 et mort le 27 septembre 1660 à Paris. C’est une figure du renouveau spirituel et apostolique du XVIIe siècle français, prêtre, fondateur de congrégations qui œuvra tout au long de sa vie pour soulager la misère matérielle et morale. Il a été canonisé en 1737.

Vincent de Paul or Vincent Depaul was born in the village of Pouy near Dax on April 24, 1581 or 1576 and died on September 27, 1660 in Paris.
