Les semis au taureau, avec la légende KASTILO à l’exergue, sont très variés selon les ornements et les lettres au droit.
Cet exemplaire avec une belle tête diadémée semble avoir une palme assez mal venue devant le menton.
The bull-shaped figures, with the legend KASTILO in the exergue, are very varied according to the ornaments and the letters on the obverse. This example with a beautiful diademed head seems to have a rather inappropriate palm frond in front of the chin.

The coinage of Kastilo was very important and lasted until the Augustan period. We have a kind of monetary system with aces, semis and quadrans. The location of this workshop is given in Calzona Linares in the province of Jaén. The toponym is written in Iberian characters.
