Ce petit bronze est d’une qualité exceptionnelle, plus beau que celui qui illustre le livre de référence ; il y est classé en R5 ! !
L’exemplaire du Villaronga semble avoir des annelets au-dessus du dauphin ; sur l’exemplaire proposé ici, il s’agit nettement de deux globules.

HISPANIA - SPAIN - IBERICO - KESE (Province of Tarragona)
(2nd century BC)
The Iberian coins of Taragonna, a city located on the northeast coast of Spain, have two different epigraphies; CESE or KESE and CESSE. The Iberian legend relates to the people who lived there while the Latin legend TARRACO presumably relates to the town itself. The bronze coins are minted there shortly after 211 BC. The silver coins would only be from the 1st century.
