Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale, légèrement piqué au droit, bien centré au droit, décentré au revers sur la légende. Usure régulière au droit. Très joli revers de beau style, finement détaillé. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Magnesia had been founded by the Magnetes, originating from Thessaly. The city, bathing at the foot of the Meander, was famous for its temple of Artemis Leucophyrene, built by Hermogenes around 190 BC and whose remains can still be admired today..
