(HS 1320-1358/ 1941-1979)

Riza Pahlavi Shah (26/10/1919-27/07/1980) modernized his country after the Second World War. The agrarian reform that he organized for the benefit of the peasantry and at the expense of the immense lands of the clergy earned him the inexpiable hatred of the latter.
