(1136-1387)
In 1136, Verona obtained its municipal autonomy. The Veronese Republic will become a de facto seigniory belonging to the della Scala family from 1259. In 1387, the city is annexed by Milan. A time independent (1404), then under the domination of Padua (1404-1405), Verona is then attached to the Republic of Venice.
