ITALY - MARCHES - FRANCESCO-MARIA II DELLA ROVERE
(1574-1624)
François-Marie was born in 1549 from the union of Guidobaldo II and Victoire Farnes. He succeeded his father in 1574. In 1570 he married Lucrezia d'Este, daughter of Hercules II, Duke of Ferrara. In 1624 he ceded Urbino to Pope Urban VIII and retired to Casteldurante where he died in 1631.
