Ces drachmes (de très bas billon plutôt que de bronze) sont très rares et recherchées. Elles serait datées du IIe et début du Ier siècle avant J.-C. et leur frappe cesserait en 89 avant J.-C..

The Celto-Ligurians, with coins in the Lepontic alphabet, settled in the 6th or 5th century BC in Transpadane, which would later become Cisalpine Gaul. From the end of the 4th century BC, they were in contact with Rome.
