Surfrappé sur lui même ou surfrappé sur un autre pentanummium. Le pentanummium ou pièce de 5 noummia a été fabriqué tout au long du règne pour l’atelier d’Antioche. Le type avec le E cruciforme fait son apparition en 529. Avec lettre d’officine, le type est frappé entre 539 et 545. Le type de revers pourrait avoir inspiré un certain nombre de deniers mérovingiens avec le E lunaire et croiseté.
