Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités perlées. Diadème perlé avec une sorte de bandeau, terminé par un cabochon gemmé. Fibule d’attache avec trois pendants perlés. Ptéryges invisibles sous le paludamentum. Graffiti devant le visage (N). Étoile dans le champ à droite. Flan légèrement voilé.

Justinian succeeded his uncle Justin in 527 after a co-regency from April 4 to August 1, 527. He reigned with Empress Theodora. The construction of Hagia Sophia was completed under his reign, which marks the height of the Byzantine conquests. Carthage as well as Africa and part of Numidia were reconquered from the Vandals thanks to General Bélisaire. After a century of Vandal domination, Romanism once again reigned over the Mediterranean.
