Pons II is the son of Guillaume III, Count of Toulouse and the Countess of Provence, Emma. In 1037, on the death of his father, he became Count of Toulouse. He died in 1063 and was buried in the Saint-Sernin church in Toulouse. He is also under the name of Pons Guillaume.
