La classe Ig2 est caractéristique avec son sanglier en forme d'arche (traitée en bourrelet sans aucun modelé) qui encadre la croix. La tête et la queue sont traitées très sommairement dans le prolongement des jets de coulée, rejoints au droit par le bandeau torsadé. Le sens dans lequel est tourné le sanglier n'est visible que par l'inclinaison des soies.
Class Ig2 is characteristic with its arch-shaped boar (treated as a bead without any modeling) which frames the cross. The head and tail are treated very summarily in the extension of the casting jets, joined on the right by the twisted band. The direction in which the boar is turned is only visible by the inclination of the bristles

The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC).
