Le point sous le ventre du sanglier est bien net sur ce potin. Il est intéressant de noter les traces parallèles sur le penon en guise de cou au droit ; s’agit-il d’un motif décoratif ou de la trace de l’outils ayant été utilisé à a fabrication du moule ?.

The Leuques are mentioned only once in the Gallic Wars. Their neighbors were the Médiomatriques, the Lingons and the Séquanes. The Leuques as well as the Séquanes and the Lingones provided Caesar with wheat when the Roman army stopped at Vesontio (Besançon) to refuel before facing the Germans of Ariovistus (58 BC).
