La variété 3 de la série VI se distingue par la présence d'une hache seulement au quatrième canton (S. 297-299). Deux positions sont à distinguer pour cette hache ; elle est oblique et à gauche (S. 297-298) ou verticale et à droite (S. 299). Mise à part cette variante dans la position de la hache, la combinaison des trois autres cantons est la même sur les trois monnaies publiées ; un œil de face au 1er canton, une oreille au 2e et un triangle évidé et pointé au 3e.
Si la position de la hache sur notre drachme se rapproche des S. 297-298, la combinaison des cantons avec une interversion entre le premier et le troisième canton semble complètement inédite.
Les monnaies de cette série sont classées R2 à R4 par G. Savès, mais les auteurs du Moneta n'en répertorient que quatre exemplaires.
Variety 3 of series VI is distinguished by the presence of an axe only in the fourth canton (S. 297-299). Two positions are to be distinguished for this axe; it is oblique and to the left (S. 297-298) or vertical and to the right (S. 299). Apart from this variation in the position of the axe, the combination of the three other cantons is the same on the three published coins; a face-on eye in the first canton, an ear in the second and a hollowed-out and pointed triangle in the third. If the position of the axe on our drachma is similar to S. 297-298, the combination of cantons with an inversion between the first and third cantons seems completely new. The coins of this series are classified R2 to R4 by G. Savès, but the authors of the Moneta only list four examples.
