Cet exemplaire, de forme rectangulaire aux coins arrondis, s’ouvre et permet de placer une monnaie de 21,5 mm et une monnaie de 18 mm.
L’emplacement pour mettre la pièce est rayé et présente les chiffres 5 et 10. L’intérieur du couvercle est lisse, on voir apparaître le médaillon en négatif.
Dimensions: 36.5 x 61.5 mm. This rectangular coin holder with rounded corners opens to hold one 21.5 mm coin and one 18 mm coin. The coin slot is scratched and features the numbers 5 and 10. The inside of the lid is smooth, revealing the medallion in negative relief.

From the Middle Ages until the middle of the 19th century, deniers, écus, and then the first francs and centimes, were carried in purses, alms pouches, or small leather change purses, often attached to the belt.
