Price (MP 2193) donne cette pièce pour un atelier incertain d’Asie Mineure occidentale tandis que les auteurs du trésor de Gülnar II (n° 915) la donne avec incertitude à l’atelier d’Érythrées.
Same dies as the copy from the Meydancikkale treasure - Gülnar II, no. 915, pl. 30. Same obverse die as the copy from the British Museum (MP. 2193, pl. CXXXVI). Mr. Price (MP 2193) gives this coin as an uncertain mint from western Asia Minor, while the authors of the Gülnar II treasure (no. 915) give it with uncertainty to the Eritrean mint.

Coinage in the name of Alexander III the Great type
After the death of Philip III in 316 BC, power was widely disputed between Olympias, mother of Alexander, Alexander IV and the Diadochi, in particular Cassander and Antigone. Antigone le Borgne appears on the political scene in 321 BC by crushing Eumenes, satrap of Cappadocia, who will be assassinated by Antigone in 316 BC.
