Daughter of Philippe d'Orléans and Henrietta of England, Marie-Louise d'Orléans was born in 1662. She is the granddaughter of Louis XIII and the sister of the future Regent. She married in 1679 Charles II, King of Spain, last of the Habsburgs of Spain.
