These coins pose a double problem of geographical and chronological attribution. It seems that these coins are related to bronzes of Germanicus and Britannicus which were minted in Pergamon. The style of our pieces resembles that of the time of Trajan or Hadrian. According to the conclusions of the authors of the Roman Provincial Coinage, our coins were minted under the Julio-Claudian.
