Les armes de la famille MAULNOURRY DE GAILLAC étaient d'argent à trois têtes de loup arrachées de sable, lampassées de gueules. Claude de Maulnourry (ou selon son jeton, Moulnorri), abbé commendataire de Gaillac, prieur de Saint-Étienne de Nevers, fut conseiller au parlement de Toulouse, conseiller d'Etat, maître des requêtes le 16 juillet 1640, et mourut en avril 1670.
The arms of the MAULNOURRY DE GAILLAC family were silver with three wolf heads erased sable, langued gules. Claude de Maulnourry (or according to his token, Moulnorri), commendatory abbot of Gaillac, prior of Saint-Étienne de Nevers, was a councilor in the parliament of Toulouse, councilor of state, master of requests on July 16, 1640, and died in April 1670

NIVERNAIS
The Duchy of Nevers has existed since the 9th century. It passes between various houses including that of Flanders and is brought by marriage to Philippe le Hardi, Duke of Burgundy. By marriage again, he passed to the Dukes of Cleves and became duchy-peerage in 1538. He then passed to the Gonzagues in 1565 and was bought by Mazarin in 1659. He remained with the Mazarins until the Revolution.
