NIVERNAIS - COUNTY OF NEVERS - GUI I
(1168-1175)
Having crossed paths, the Count of Nevers Guillaume IV died on October 24, 1168, shortly after his arrival in the Holy Land. His brother Gui I succeeded him. He died in 1175 leaving the county to his son Guillaume V who, too young to govern, was placed under the guardianship of his mother Mathilde de Bourgogne.
