Il s’agit de monnaies de 3 et 6 Pence, et de 1 et 2 Shillings frappées pour la plantation Frouin située à Faureville sur l’île de Vaté (actuelle Efaté). La livre australienne, avec ses subdivisions, avait en effet cours dans le condominium franco-britannique des Nouvelles-Hébrides.
These are 3 and 6 pence coins, and 1 and 2 shillings minted for the Frouin plantation located at Faureville on the island of Vaté (present-day Efaté). The Australian pound, with its subdivisions, was in fact valid in the Franco-British condominium of the New Hebrides.
