Denier frappé sur un flan un peu court, mais complet des deux côtés. Flan fragmentaire avec un manque de métal. Patine grise, légèrement irisée par endroits

Il est vraiment regrettable que ce denier soit cassé (anciennement à en juger par la patine et l’aspect de la cassure). Si certains deniers ont été coupés ou cassés en deux afin d’obtenir des oboles, il ne semble pas que ce soit le cas pour ce denier ; le poids de 0,85 gramme est trop lourd et l’autre morceau aurait été trop léger.
Au revers la swastika est presque complète, ainsi que la tête avec une très belle coiffure perlée.
La légende IN [PALA]CIO est incomplète , mais facilement restituable.
It is truly unfortunate that this denarius is broken (formerly, judging by the patina and the appearance of the break). While some denarii were cut or broken in two to obtain obols, this does not appear to be the case for this denarius; the weight of 0.85 grams is too heavy and the other piece would have been too light. On the reverse, the swastika is almost complete, as is the head with a very beautiful pearl headdress. The legend IN [PALA]CIO is incomplete, but easily restored
