Chiang Kai-shek (1887-1975) est un militaire et homme politique chinois. Héritier politique de Sun Yat-sen, il contrôle le Kuomintang et devient le dirigeant nationaliste de la Chine, plusieurs fois premier ministre et président de la république. Après la guerre sino-japonaise, il est battu en Chine continentale par les forces communistes et je replie sur l’île de Taïwan où il sera président de 19149 à sa mort.
Chiang Kai-shek (1887-1975) was a Chinese military man and politician. A political heir to Sun Yat-sen, he controlled the Kuomintang and became the nationalist leader of China, serving several times as prime minister and president of the republic. After the Sino-Japanese War, he was defeated in mainland China by communist forces and retreated to the island of Taiwan, where he served as president from 1914 until his death.
