The Roman monetary system was reorganized in the middle of the Second Punic War (221-201 BC) in 211 BC That year, Hannibal decided to march on Rome, then departed from it. and takes Capua, since famous for its Delights. In Sicily, Marcellus captures Syracuse. Archimedes is killed during the sack of the city, massacred by a rufian, while the Roman commander had expressly requested that he be spared, having suffered greatly from the defense machines of the city designed by the inventor.
