Cette rouelle a vraisemblablement plus été obtenue par découpe dans une tôle de bronze que par coulée. D’aspect très plate, elle est comparable à certaines rouelles en argent dont la jante est plate et large et les rayons rapportés et torsadés.
Cet exemplaire en bronze a une jante large et des traces d’outils sur les bords intérieurs qui confirment la technique de fabrication.
This wheel was probably made more by cutting from a bronze sheet than by casting. Its very flat appearance is comparable to certain silver wheels with a flat, wide rim and added, twisted spokes. This bronze example has a wide rim and tool marks on the inner edges, which confirm the manufacturing technique.
