Le droit représente saint Wenceslas (907-929), duc de Bohème, qui favorisa la christianisation de son pays. Il se rapprocha des Allemands et prêta l'hommage à Henri Ier l'Oiseleur. Provoquant la colère des éléments païens, il fut assassiné par son frère Boleslav Ier. Martyr, il devint le symbole de la Bohême.
The obverse depicts Saint Wenceslas (907-929), Duke of Bohemia, who promoted the Christianization of his country. He drew closer to the Germans and paid homage to Henry I the Fowler. Provoking the anger of the pagan elements, he was assassinated by his brother Boleslaw I. A martyr, he became the symbol of Bohemia.

(1918-1939)
Czechoslovakia is a creation of the First World War and the Treaties of Versailles and Saint-Germain from Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia, territories that were part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Independence was proclaimed on October 28, 1918. First governed by Masaryk then by Benes, finally by Hacha, Czechoslovakia broke up in 1938 after the signing of the Munich Accords (September 29-30). Czechoslovakia disappeared on March 15, 1939 when Slovakia became independent and Czechia fell under the Nazi boot with the pompous name of "Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia". Czechoslovakia, reconstituted under the Soviet boot after the fall of Nazism, is again disjointed today, but by the will of the peoples, in Slovakia and Czechia.
