More than thirty years after the publication of the tenth volume of The Roman Imperial Coinage (RIC), this volume constitutes a critical revision of the bronze coinage issued from the year 395 AD through the reign of Anastasius. It provides at least one image for each type, mint, officina, and individual variant, enabling both scholars and enthusiasts to identify and catalogue coins with ease among the more than one thousand documented specimens. The coins, along with their numerous variants, are organized using a numbering system that is consistent and compatible with Kent’s 1994 volume.
