Eustache Gault est seigneur de la Brillaudière et maire de 1595 à 1596. Il porte de gueules à un papegault d’argent, perché sur un bâton du même issant en bande du flan senestre de l’écu ; à la rose d’argent posée en pointe.

TOURAINE - GENTRY AND TOWNS
Region of the Turones Celts, Touraine has as main city Turones or Caesarodunum (Tours) under the Romans, of which it is the capital of Lyonnaise IIIe. After the Battle of Vouillé in 507, it passed to the Franks. It became county in the 10th century and the stake of a rivalry between the houses of Anjou and Blois.
