L’exemplaire PK 127 était inédit selon l’auteur. Ce second exemplaire semble être exactement du même type, si ce n’est la variante sous le cheval.

The people of the Turons, settled on the Loire, left their name to Tours and Touraine. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. They seem to have grown in importance after the disappearance of the Arverne empire in 121 BC. Like the Pictons, the Turons provided eight thousand men for the relief army which was to release Alesia. Their main oppidum seems to have been placed near the site of Amboise. Caesar (BG. II, 35; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 46).
