Pour ce type qui semble anodin, nous avons deux types de revers différents : le premier avec AVGVR/ PON MAX (RIC. 29) comme sur notre exemplaire et le second avec TRI POT (RIC 30), deniers qui ont tous les deux été frappés en 70-71 et font référence au grand pontificat et à l’aspect sacré de celui qui est revêtu de la puissance tribunitienne. Le revers est inspiré par le denier d’Octave (RCV. 1544). Ce type semble beaucoup plus rare.
For this seemingly innocuous type, we have two different types of reverse: the first with AVGVR/PON MAX (RIC. 29) as on our example and the second with TRI POT (RIC 30), denarii which were both struck in 70-71 and refer to the great pontificate and the sacred aspect of the one who is invested with tribunician power. The reverse is inspired by the denarius of Octavius (RCV. 1544). This type seems much rarer
