Ce type au A croiseté semble être originaire du Poitou. Cet exemplaire a été publié par P. Schiesser dans son ouvrage sur la circulation monétaire en Touraine sous le n° 1029, en précisant que ce denier est issu des mêmes coins que l’exemplaire BnF 2006-16.
Il est intéressant de mettre ce denier en relation avec le bmv_259232 ou encore le bmv_288803..

Many Merovingian coins, badly minted, with very poor or inexplicit epigraphy, cannot be attributed to a particular mint. Too rare coins unfortunately have the same problem.
