背面的翻译 (Dieu est un, Dieu est éternel) tiré de la sourate 112 du Coran complétée par la légende circulaire (Et Mahomet est son prophète).

L’interdiction de la représentation de l’homme et des animaux valorise grandement l’écriture, d’autant plus que le Coran dit explicitement que l’art d’écrire est d’essence divine (sourate 96, verset 4).
