L’original de ce jeton est particulièrement rare. Notons que Feuardent donne une mauvaise lecture avec FRANCOVZ.
Nous vendons cette copie pour la même raison que nos prédécesseurs l’ont faite il y a un siècle : l’original est introuvable. Face à toutes ces copies anciennes, un seul réflexe : faire sonner sur un marbre. L’étain sonne toc.
The original of this token is particularly rare. Note that Feuardent gives a bad reading with FRANCOVZ. We are selling this copy for the same reason our predecessors did a century ago: the original is unobtainable. Faced with all these old copies, there is only one reflex: ring it on a marble. The tin sounds like a knock.
